Israeli military announces ‘tactical pause' in attempt to increase flow of aid into hard-hit Gaza

The Israeli military has declared a ’tactical pause’ in its offensive in the southern Gaza Strip. The pause, set to begin in the Rafah area at 8 a.m. and last until 7 p.m., is aimed at facilitating the delivery of increased quantities of humanitarian aid. This daily pause will continue until further notice and is coordinated with the U.N. and international aid agencies. The move is expected to ease the bottleneck at the Israel-controlled Kerem Shalom crossing, allowing aid trucks to reach their destinations within Gaza.
